Ultra Fabrics -
Click links. These are becoming well known and are replacing our
use of Full Spectra due to cost. The 200X weight has been
the most popular for us because it takes our dyes well and falls
into the right weight class of 4.4 oz. per yard. The 400X;
I wish it was as light as claimed (Challenge has not updated their
website with the new fabric weights since beefing up their linings),
but for people that need a really burly pack, it's the way to
go. Below; Challenge
100X gray with a dyed white to yellow Challenge 200X rear pocket
and dyed white to yellow 400X bottom in a Merke 36.

Challenge.
This is an older version of 100 we can sell. We still use it to
line pack bottoms and etc. This is a nice gray color we have for
sale at $20.00/yard. This is the older style without X-Ply and
with a lighter PET laminate. 2 yard minimum. 3 oz weight / yd
200X
Challenge. This is also a very nice strong light fabric -
so much stronger than X-Grid. It's a hair lighter than X-Grid
at 4.4 oz/yard with 5 times the amount of Dyneema. It's a 67%
dyneema and 33% polyester blend. Grid fabrics typically are 10
to 13% Dyneema or Spectra or generic UHMWPE.

Challenge. This is great for uber durable pack bottoms or
rear pockets. Black or white. We use black for most packs.

Spectra - We no
longer laminate DCF to Spectra since Challenge Fabrics are now
so affordable.
Hybrid Composite
Dyneema - We have a number of
weights in stock up to the weight of X Grid fabric - mostly about
4 oz/yd. The excess fabric price is $25.00/yd
.....2 yd minimum.
Spectra 'Grid' w 140 high tenacity nylon 3.8 oz/yd
- 1/4" grid: Gray color. This is a very nice fabric for light
packs. Special order only. Challenge 100X is stronger though,
and lighter.
Spectra X
Grid / 4.8 oz/square yd dark gray. The
4 current colors are Powder Blue, Morocan
Blue - excess DIY price is $10.00/yd! - blue only - 2 yard minimum
- that's 50% off, OD Camo Green, Orange, Dark Gray.
There is no extra charge for using X-Grid fabrics in packs.
